Questions buyers ask

How much does a Vichy shower cost?

Equipment runs $5,495 to $10,110. A Vichy shower bed (a wet table with the shower bar built in) is the same thing priced as one unit. Our acrylic Vichy wet table is $5,495 as one piece, with freight and US duty included. Buying the same capability in the US means two purchases: Touch America's Aphrodite stationary wet table at $1,974 plus Water Werks' 5-head Cascade rain bar at $5,495, so $7,469. Touch America's complete Neptune table with an 8-head Vichy shower is $10,110.

Vichy shower cost guide

What is a Vichy shower?

A Vichy shower is a treatment table under a horizontal bar of shower heads. The client lies on the table, clothed in disposables or a swimsuit, while warm water rains over the body during a scrub, wrap or massage. The water drains from the table, so the room needs a floor drain and waterproof finishes.

What is another name for a Vichy shower?

Spas also call it an affusion shower, a rain bar, a horizontal shower or a wet table treatment. Equipment suppliers list the table and the bar separately as a "wet table" and a "Vichy shower".

What happens during a Vichy shower treatment?

A therapist applies a scrub or mask, then rinses it off under the bar while the client stays lying down. Sessions usually run 30 to 60 minutes.

Is a table shower the same as a Vichy shower?

Yes. A table shower, or table shower massage, is a Vichy shower: the client lies on a wet table while a horizontal bar of shower heads rains water over them during the treatment.

What do clients wear during a Vichy shower?

Disposable underwear or a swimsuit, spa's choice. The therapist stays dressed and works from the side of the table.

How much does a Vichy shower bed cost?

This Vichy shower bed is $5,495 with freight, US customs duty and curbside delivery included: a one-piece white acrylic table and an overhead hydro-jet shower bar in one.
